Dr. Ellen
Arendt It’s hard to believe, but I’ve been practicing
Obstetrics and Gynecology for 14 years now. I moved to
Colorado Springs 10 years ago, when I was 8 months pregnant
with our first child. I grew up and did all of my training in
Chicago, (Northwestern for college, University of Illinois for
medical school, and University of Chicago for
residency).
My husband, Ihor Fedorak, is a General
Surgeon here in town, and we have two beautiful children, ages
7 and 10. We enjoy skiing and biking together as a family, and
between work and the kids’ school and extracurricular
activities, manage to stay very busy.
I think OB/Gyn is
a great field in which to practice. I get to care for women
and be a part of their lives through some of the most
challenging and wonderful times- through childbirth and
infertility, adolescence and menopause, and all those times in
between. |
